DISCLAIMER/COMPETITION RULES

Article 1: Organisation of Competition
Mazars SA, a limited company with capital of €8,320,000 registered on the Nanterre Commercial Register under registration number 784.824.153, with head office located at 61 Rue Henri Regnault (referred to below as the “organiser”) – is organising a competition called “Collective Intelligence 2.0”, free to enter without obligation to buy. The competition is being held from 1 October 2014 to 20 November 2014.

Article 2: Basis of the Competition
Mazars SA is organising an operation by which it invites Mazars stakeholders throughout the world to contribute to writing its next annual report (2012-13) by putting forward questions that they would like Mazars to answer in its annual report. Participants can also comment on the questions raised by other participants.
The operation is called “Collective Intelligence 2.0”.

Article 3: Duration of the Competition
The period for taking part in the competition is from 1 October 2014 to 20November 2014. After that date it will no longer be possible to participate.

Article 4: Participation Procedures
The competition is open stakeholders of Mazars (hereinafter “participants”). Each person can take part as many times as they wish by putting forward more than one question and/or writing several comments. Participants can put forward questions and/or comment on other questions via a dedicated Internet platform which can be accessed at www.collectiveintelligence20.com. Active participation (put forward a question and comment on questions put forward by other participants) requires compulsory identification of the participant with a personal account on the LinkedIn professional social network (accounts can be created free of charge at www.linkedin.com).
Participation in the competition denotes full and unreserved acceptance of these rules. Any practical difficulties in interpreting or applying the rules will be settled by the organiser.

Schedule

Competition launch: 1 October 2014.

Last date for participating: 20 November 2014.

Random draw for winners from authors of other questions: 20 November 2014.

Announcement of results of questions selected, announcement of results of draw of additional questions, and award of prizes: 15 December 2014.

Writers of approved questions and approved comments that are posted authorise Mazars to state their name and use their posted content as well as the photograph of the participant in its communication material, for an unlimited period of time, on condition that the circumstances under which the question was asked is stated. Such approval extends to all participants and not only to the questions of winners (persons selected for prizes). Winners undertake to provide Mazars with a good quality photograph of themselves.

Moderation

The organiser reserves the right to reject questions and comments which have no relation to the subject of the operation (relevance), which are couched in an openly aggressive manner or which contravene applicable law (suitability). The organiser also reserves the right to reject questions which have already been asked in a similar way by another participant (non-similarity). Assessment of the relevance, suitability or non-similarity will be performed at the discretion of the organiser. Participants will be informed of the rejection and details on such rejection will be kept by the organiser for a period of 1 year after the start of the operation. The organiser reserves the right to rewrite the heading of the question and to translate it to make it more understandable.

Article 5: Award of Prizes


- Best Questions: Five iPads Mini 2 with 16 GB (one per winner) with a value of €299*


- Other questions drawn at random: 5 iPod Shuffles (one per winner) to a value of €55*

*Apple list price as of 07/10/2014.

Prizes do not include any additional fees and services which may be required for their enjoyment or use. Prizes cannot give rise to any claim of any sort nor replacement with their value in money in any form whatsoever nor will they be replaced or exchanged for any reason whatsoever. In the event of a force majeure or if circumstances demand it, the organiser reserves the right to replace the prizes awarded by other similar prizes of equivalent or higher value.

Article 6: Naming of Winners
In this operation participants can win prizes in accordance with the following rules.

5 best questions asked
At the end of the submission period a jury appointed by the organiser will select the 5 most relevant questions from all submitted questions.
The writers of these 5 questions:
 Will each win an iPad Mini.
 Will be mentioned in the Mazars 2013-14 Annual Report with their name, photograph, job title (function and name of company), their question and the answer which will be given by a Mazars professional or an outside expert.
- The organiser reserves the right to use more than 5 of the questions asked.

5 other questions drawn at random
A random draw will be organised from all the other questions submitted.
5 iPod Shuffles will be awarded.

Limit of winnings
An individual can only win a single price at most even if he takes part several times by posting several questions.

Article 7: Results and Prize Giving
The results will be declared and prizes awarded on 15 December 2014.

Article 8: Liability
The organiser of the competition reserves the right to change, postpone or cancel the competition for any reason whatsoever. Prizes cannot give rise to any claim by winners whatsoever, neither for the equivalent of the prize to be awarded in euros or in any other form whatsoever. The organiser will not be liable for any damage arising from prizes won by participants.

Article 9: French Data Protection Act
In accordance with Article 27 of the “Information Technology and Freedoms” law of 6 January 1978 (French Data Protection Act) participants have the right to access, modify, rectify and delete data which concerns them. They can exercise this right or contest the transfer of said data to third parties in writing, addressed to the head office of the organiser. These rules can be obtained free of charge on simple request sent in writing to the head office of the organiser.

Article 10: Acceptance of rules or legal deposition
In accordance with Article 27 of the “Information Technology and Freedoms” law of 6 January 1978 (French Data Protection Act) participants have the right to access, modify, rectify and delete data which concerns them. They can exercise this right or contest the transfer of said data to third parties in writing, addressed to the head office of the organiser.
